Release of February 22, 2013

In this release we are delighted to roll out a redesigned and improved Project Search page. This improved page shows the Project Activity Indicator, clearer “baseball card” stats, and a cleaner layout. ¬†We’ve tweaked the Compare Projects button so the projects you select show up clearly and boldly at the top of the page. We have also added a new sort feature so you can sort by the Project Activity Level (alphabetic within each level).

Other improvements and changes include:

  • Improvements to our microdata tagging to help search engines perform a semantic analysis of the project pages on Ohloh
  • Internal improvements to protect the users from long running queries
  • Improved standardization of license options
  • Small fix to ensure we are displaying the correct lines of code count (very important!)
  • We have also adjusted the information text about out Organizations page now that they are getting more traction

Thanks as always for being part of the Ohloh community!
